"Baldev Institue of Management, Technology and Sciences (BIMTAS)" established under the aegis of Chenab Education Trust, Jammu (J&K) was founded on his lofty ideas and guidance.We loved him for the kindness he bestowed on us, we honour him for the care and affection showered on us, we remember him for his unstinted love for the simple village folks and his utmost concern for the human sufferings. MCA (Master in Computer Applications)
- Intake
- The present sanctioned intake capacity for the course is 60 which include 6 seats to be filled under Management Quota.
- Eligibility
- A candidate seeking admission to the programme must have passed qualifying degree examination in the discipline of Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or Technology with 50% of aggregate marks (40% for Scheduled Castes/Tribes candidates).
- Admission Process
- For admission to the course the candidate has to apply to the Director College Development Council (DCDC), University of Jammu. The DCDC conducts the councelling and allot the college/institution as per the preference of the candidate, however, subject to the availability of seats in the College/Institute. The admission fee is to be paid at the time of councelling through a Bank Draft as required in favour of Director College Development Council, University of Jammu. At the time of admission in the Institute the candidate has to be accompanied by his/her guardian. The following documents are to be submitted to the Institute at the time of admission:-
- 1.Admission to the course is through the Entrance Test Conducted by the Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu
- 2 The candidate has to fill the application form obtainable in the Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu-180006 and send the same by registered post/ by hand to the Department
- 3 Eligible candidates are allowed to sit in the entrance examination on the production of Admit Card. In case an applicant does not receive the admit card four days prior to the commencement of written test he/she should contact the department and collect the duplicate Admit card personally after submitting attested passport size photograph
- 4 The candidate selected for admission shall have to produce certificate in original at the time of counseling
- 5 10% of the sanctioned seats are filled under Management Quota.

- For regular admission through the University of Jammu, the fee is charged as prescribed by the University of Jammu on Annual Basis. In addition to this other charges as prescribed by the University and other as per the requirements of the Institute are also to be paid by the candidate.
