A Tribute to Thakur Baldev Singh

In our Country, where respect for age and tradition is a part of antiquity, we remember and honour Thakur Baldev Singh Chib with gratitude. "Baldev Institue of Management, Technology and Sciences (BIMTAS)" established under the aegis of Chenab Education Trust, Jammu (J&K) was founded on his lofty ideas and guidance.We loved him for the kindness he bestowed on us, we honour him for the care and affection showered on us, we remember him for his unstinted love for the simple village folks and his utmost concern for the human sufferings. We cherish his message of Tolerance,Universality and Simplicity. Above all, we miss his guidance,tranquility and the love and affection he showered on us throughout his selfless life time.

Central Library

The library contains a wide range of books, periodicals, journals, subscribed magazines, video cassettes and CDs on Science, Technology, Computer, Business and literature to fulfill the academic needs and curricular interest of the students. The reference section is equipped with photocopying facilities and other modern amenities.

Computer Laboratory

The Institute maintains an advanced computer laboratory having computers equipped with the latest configuration of hardware and software packages to which students have easy access. The Institute also provides internet facilities to the students to enable them to update themselves with latest information in fields of their interest.

Hostel Accommodation

The Institute has a well designed and will constructed Hostel within the campus with the Mess facilities. Efforts are made to create homely facilities and atmosphere. However, only girls students are provided the accommodation in the Hostel.

Training & Placement Cell

The Institute has a full-fledged placement cell looking after the activities related to training and find placement of students. The placement cell remains in touch with the Government/Semi-Government and Corporate job market.
