A Tribute to Thakur Baldev Singh

In our Country, where respect for age and tradition is a part of antiquity, we remember and honour Thakur Baldev Singh Chib with gratitude. "Baldev Institue of Management, Technology and Sciences (BIMTAS)" established under the aegis of Chenab Education Trust, Jammu (J&K) was founded on his lofty ideas and guidance.We loved him for the kindness he bestowed on us, we honour him for the care and affection showered on us, we remember him for his unstinted love for the simple village folks and his utmost concern for the human sufferings. We cherish his message of Tolerance,Universality and Simplicity. Above all, we miss his guidance,tranquility and the love and affection he showered on us throughout his selfless life time.

Selection & Admission Procedure for BBA & BCA

All admission to the BBA and BCA courses shall be made only through the Entrance Test to be conducted by the University of Jammu. However, admission to seats under the management Quota is made by the Management of Institute.

Intake

The intake capacity of the Institution for both BBA and BCA courses is fixes by the University of Jammu, annually.

Fee Structure

The admission fee is to be paid at the time of admission through a crossed Bank Draft in favour of Director, Colleges Development Council, University of Jammu as per the requirements prescribed by the Competent Authority from time to time.

Commencement of Examination

Annual examination in each part will generally be held during March-April every year. Supplementary examination in each part will generally be held during Oct./Nov.

Attendance Requirement

The candidate who has attended not less then 75% lectures delivered to the class in each subject and 75% of the sessions (each session is of 2 hrs) assigned to practical work shall be eligible to sit in each part of the examination.

Eligibility for BBA

The BBA course shall be open to a candidate who has qualified higher secondary part-ll examination (10+2) pattern of J&K State Board of School Education or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to with atleast 50% of aggregate marks.

Eligibility for BCA

Admission to Part-I class of the BCA course shall be open to those candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Part-ll examination (under 10+2 pattern) of the J & K State Board of School Education or an examination recognized as equivalent there to with Mathematics as one of the subjects and has obtained at least 45% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General Category, candidates 40% marks in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.
