Chenab College of Education was established in the year 1999 at village Langer, Opp : SBI, Kalu Chak under the aegis of Chenab Education Trust and is recognised by the Govt, of J & K and affiliated to the Jammu University for B.Ed, course. The College is located in approximately 20 kanals of land having grand & imposing chain of buildings with separate Teaching & Administrative Blocks, Girls Hostel, Multipurpose Hall within the College premises - all set in a magnificent lush green lawns, impressive plantation both of decorative as well as fruit trees in a eco-friendly environment. Ever since its inception, the College has made a steady progress both in its infrastructural facilities as well as in imparting quality education. Starting with a meagre number of 110 students in 1999, the College has today 333 students on rolls in 20011-12 session, drawn from various adjoining States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi including the home state of J &K.
