Chenab College of Education:Conduct Rules
- Discipline
- The discipline is the watch word of the College, students who seek admission in this College have to maintain discipline and they shall have to give proof of their good behaviour and conduct by doing so. If any student violates the discipline, he/she is liable for rustication .
- Leave
- Class Attendance is compulsory.
- No student can proceed on long leave.
- Medical leave will be sanctioned only on production of Medical Certificates.
- 91% attendance is to be attained during the Session by every student.
- Absentees
- Long absence will lead to cancellation of admission and shortage in attendance. If any candidate failing short of attendance, he/she will not be eligible to appear in the final examination.
- If any student remains away from the College un-authorizedly, he/she will be dealt with as per College rules.
- No student can discuss Politics within the College premises.
- No student can have full time or part time job. If any case is detected the candidate's admission will be cancelled.
- No student can appear in any University Examination during the course of the Session.
- General Instructions
- No student can spread dirt or pluck flowers. Every Saturday will be observed as Campus Cleanliness day. All the students will involve themselves in order to improve the beauty of the Campus.
- No male/female student is allowed to enter Girls Hostel Premises, without the prior permission of the Warden/Principal.
- There will be morning prayers everyday followed by 'Thought for the day'.The student and teachers in turn will speak about the importance of the same.
- Strolling on the lawns opposite Teaching Block Entrance and Principal's office is completely prohibited.
- College timings will be strictly observed by all students/staff members.
- RULES OF CONDUCT
- A student on the rolls of college will maintain discipline inside and outside the college.
- Every student will carry the identity card in his/her possession. The same can be checked at any time member of the staff or the security at the gate.
- No political and Non academic meeting of any sort can be held in the college premises.
- It is compulsory for all students to be seated inside the classroom 5 minutes before the lecture time.
- Disturbing the classes and calling out any student from the class during the period is a serious offence.
- Proper discipline should be maintained inside the classes.
- Students shall wear uniform in the college. Without uniform student will be charged a fine of Rs. 10 per day.
- No outsider is allowed to enter the college premises without a valid reason.
- Each students will show sincerely, regularity and punctuality.
- No student will supposed to enter principal chamber, faculty room without any proper permission.
- No student is allowed to organise any personal celebration or parties in the college.
- Students can avail canteen facilities only during free periods and break.
- Littering is not permitted. Use dustbins only.
- Each students will join the college for the college picnic & celebration of festival inside the college premises.
- No student shall accept or retain full time or part time job during the period of his/her training in the college.
- Students will keep their cell phones switched off in the class room.
- The above rules can be changed, modified or suspended as when required.
